The General Assembly

The General Assembly is the supreme body of the Czech Chamber of Architects. The Board of Directors has responsibility to convene this supreme body at least once per year. All licensed architects have the right to attend it with a decisive voice.
The General Assembly has the "legal" power, which means the Chambers regulation and orders (Organization, Procedure and Election Order, Code of Conduct, Standard Regulations for Competitions, Disciplinary and Arbitration Regulations) can only be amended at its meetings.
At the General Assembly, all licensed architects can express their opinions on Chamber legislation, suggest amendments and participate in decisions on these amendments. (The only exception is the Registration Order which is approved by the Minister for Regional Development upon a suggestion of the Board of Directors).
The General Assembly also approves the annual report of the CCA, including the report of the Chamber's economic activity, and elects members to Chamber bodies with the exception of the Certification Council. It also adopts the final resolution which broadly determines the Chambers activity for the coming year.
