Two hundred experts worldwide participated in the three-day forum. Besides educational systems and presentation of foreign educational programmes in the field of architecture, attention focused on public procurement, cultural heritage protection, examples of sustainable development of towns and establishment of Architecture Centres. The next EFAP conference will be held in Sweden.

The Conference of European Forum of Architecture policy (EFAP), which is called Implementation of Architectural Policies - New Expectations is held on 17 and 18 April 2009 in Prague Congress Center. The Conference is organised by the Czech Chamber of Architects together with the Ministry for Regional Development of the Czech Republic as a part of the official programme of the Czech Presidency of the European Union.

The Czech Chamber of Architects is pleased to support the launch of the Built Environment Action Register (BEAR). BEAR is a database of professionals willing to volunteer their time, skills, and expertise for humanitarian architecture projects for communities in need all over the world.
